Prior to entering the club basketball circuit, her coaching experience includes the University of Pittsburgh-Johnston as the head coach, and assistant coaching experience at Syracuse University, The University of Wisconsin, and most recently Georgia Tech as an assistant, where she coached the ACC Rookie of the Year, Elizabeth Balogun and 2 players who were selected to the All-Conference teams.

Before entering the coaching world, Palmer was an All-American at Northern Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Psychology.  From here, she went on to play professional basketball overseas with stops in Switzerland and Luxembourg.
